Parking Alert for October 6 & 7 Performances of the Austin Symphony

Patrons attending the Austin Symphony Orchestra’s performance Friday, October 6th and Saturday, October 7th may be impacted by the 2017 Austin City Limits Festival occurring in Zilker Park. Parking will be available for $10 in the Palmer Event Center Garage and patrons should plan on experiencing increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the area. The City of Austin is holding a number of spots for ASO patrons that will be available beginning at 6:45 p.m.

Be An Early Bird
Show up early and enjoy our free Pre-Concert Talks with Bob Buckalew, guest Ryan Heller (Chorus Austin) and Bruce Williams (ASO Principal Violist) at 7:10 p.m. While you’re there, pre-order any drinks at any of the Dell Hall lobby bars for pickup during intermission.

Road Closures
Barton Springs Rd will be closed from Mopac to Robert E Lee Rd. Patrons coming from Mopac should take the Cesar Chavez exit and head East on Cesar Chavez, then turn right on South 1st St.

Overflow Parking Available at One Texas Center Parking Garage:
The garage is located next to the Extended Stay America on the south east corner of Barton Springs Road and South First Street behind the One Texas Center building. The garage may be accessed by Haywood Avenue (off of Riverside Drive) or the drive off of South First Street. Visit austintexas.gov/OTCParking for additional information regarding One Texas Center.
