THE RIGHTEOUS BROTHERS WITH BILL MEDLEY CANCEL APPEARANCE WITH AUSTIN SYMPHONY

Jim Reagan, Executive Director of the Austin Symphony, announced today that the ASO's Sarah & Ernest Butler Pops concert featuring The Righteous Brothers with Bill Medley scheduled for Saturday, September 24 at Riverbend Centre has been cancelled. Management for Bill Medley stated that the cancellation comes because of the threat of Hurricane Rita on Austin.

Reagan stated that although the Bill Medley concert has been cancelled, another Pops concert with the ASO will be re-scheduled for the near future, and that tickets already purchased for The Righteous Brothers would be honored for that future concert. Reagan added that his plans to reschedule the Butler September Pops have not been finalized at this time, but he hopes to have definite news by next week.
