Following the success of last years “Superheroes” Concert, the ASO and Maestro Peter Bay are once again launching a brand new production: “Symphony of Terror.” “Symphony of Terror” opens the 2014-15 Sarah & Ernest Butler Pops Series on Friday, October 24 in Dell Hall of the Long Center for the Performing Arts. This night of iconic music from your favorite horror films will get you ready for the Halloween season. You’ll be on the edge of your seat when you hear music from such hits as The Shining, Psycho, Poltergeist, Halloween, Beetlejuice and many more! In addition to the music there will be visuals on a big screen to enhance this terrifying experience.
Austin favorites, House of Torment, will be on hand with a few surprises to ensure everyone is thoroughly frightened. All concertgoers are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character. Some material may be too scary for small children. Parental guidance is advised.
Tickets for the Symphony of Terror range from $12-$75. Tickets are available through the ASO Box Office 1101 Red River, by phone 476-6064 or online at http://www.austinsymphony.org.
