Austin Symphony Presents Halloween Children’s Concert

What Austin tradition is creepy and crawly, yet not too spooky for the little ones and still exciting and enlightening for the whole family? It’s fun-filled and educational, with classical music that will leave you shakin’ in your boots: The Austin Symphony presents it annual Halloween Children’s Concert, sponsored Blue Bell Creameries. This concert is a wonderful chance for you to introduce your children to the wonders of live orchestral music and also a great opportunity to wear costumes and have tons of fun. The concert hall will be decorated top to bottom to enhance your little one’s concert experience.

Experience the story of Hansel and Gretel through music and with actors and narration provided by Pollyanna Theatre Company. Also on the program is music from Spider-Man, Hook, Pirates of the Caribbean and more! Children will also be introduced to various instruments in the orchestra and learn about the music being performed. With surprising special effects and classical favorites, families will never want to leave! Although the program is designed mainly for families with children between the ages of 3 and 10, the atmosphere will spark excitement and imagination in listeners of all ages when stepping through the front door. Kids and their families are invited to wear their costumes to the concert!

Blue Bell Creameries will provide sweet treats for everyone after the concert!
