Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Usher Program

The Austin Symphony is grateful for the efforts of over 200 ushers—all volunteers—who make the experience of attending and ASO performance a much more enjoyable one. Many arrive hours before the concert to insert flyers in programs, receive information on the evening’s program and assist in readying the concert hall for as many as 3,000 concertgoers who will begin arriving in the hour prior to the performance. Box Office Volunteers

The Austin Symphony Box Office is always looking for fun, energetic volunteers to help the night of performances. We need volunteers to help with Will Call, ticket sales and answer questions patrons might have in order to make their symphony experience an enjoyable one.
