“Worlds Apart”
Show guest artist bio

Worlds collide as Mozart from Austria and Dvořák from the Czech Republic complement each other on this exciting program! The Austin Symphony will perform Dvořák’s popular New World Symphony and Mozart’s spirited Violin Concerto No. 4 performed by William Hagen on his 1735 “Sennhauser” Guarneri del Gesù! Hailed as a “brilliant virtuoso…a standout” (The Dallas Morning News), Hagen is sure to make his Austin Symphony debut one you won’t forget! The evening will open with Gioachino Rossini’s fan favorite, the William Tell Overture.

Still want more? How about playing on some string instruments provided by our friends at Violin’s Etc.? We also have a wonderful pre-concert talk given by Bob Buckalew at 7:10 pm. How about “tweeting” with our musicians and ASO staff? Take a photo in front of our photo wall. Come “Hear a Great Story” with YOUR Austin Symphony!
