Mariachi los Camperos de Nati Cano
- Sarah & Ernest Butler Pops Series
- June 7-8, 2013 8:00 PM
- where: Palmer Events Center directions
- conductor: Stephan Sanders
Los Camperos have been a fixture in the Los Angeles area and a driving force in the North American mariachi tradition for more than 40 years. The groups longtime association with Linda Ronstadt, performing live with her and on her milestone album, Canciones de mi padre, helped catapult mariachi music to unprecedented national prominence. Mariachi Los Camperos continues to raise the mariachi tradition to new heights, with an ever-growing following of Latino and non-Latino listeners and admirers. Their contribution to the musical life of Los Angeles and the entire southwest will remain for generations to come. Bring your friends and family and a picnic dinner and “¡acercerse a la música!” (get closer to the music!).
Bring your friends, family and your favorite food dish!
