Master’s Class

What could be more sensational for young musicians-in-training than a chance to be coached by one of their idols? The Master Class program gives some high school musicians this remarkable opportunity by bringing international artists into high school orchestra rooms. Other students are welcome to observe while visiting guest artists with the ASO sit down and listen to select teenage musicians perform, then work and talk with them about their musical style and technique.

Acclaimed soloists like violinists Joshua Bell, Midori, Nokothula Ngwenyama, Caitlyn Tully and The Cavani String Quartet have given dozens of young people unique insight into their future careers as musicians.
