Orchestra Auditions

The Austin Symphony Orchestra announces auditions for the 2010-2011 Season. Auditions will be held August 27 and 28, 2010 at the Long Center for the Performing Arts in Austin, TX.

Positions available
Section 2nd Violin (two positions)
Section Double Bass (one position)
Principal Horn (one year position, beginning after September 11, 2010)
Utility Bassoon (one year position, beginning after September 11, 2010)

Scale: Section – $120.19 per service
Scale: Principal – $144.22 per service

Pending internal auditions, only highly qualified candidates need apply.
Application deadline: August 21, 2010
